Since I was a little girl, I dreamt of being an artist. I thrived doing all things creative. And now, I get to use my passion to capture sweet moments and special days for others.

After walking through a local art show showcasing many photographers in my home state of Maine, I became inspired to learn more about photography. When I was 14, I saved enough money to buy my first “real” camera. I was so excited use it. I would make my friends pose for me whenever I could convince them. They were not as enthused with the idea, but willingly went along with it to help me get practice. Looking back I half smile and half cringe at those photos, knowing how far I’ve come since then. Eight years later, my passion for photography remains the same, but now I help create lasting memories for couples, families and friends.

A bit more about me.

I was raised on the coast of Maine. I’m a Maine girl all the way and will always call it home. When I’m not behind the camera or editing photos at a local coffee shop, you may find me working as a nurse on a labor & delivery floor. I love my two siamese kitties, the art of making lattes, and hiking. When I’m not working I love to spend time in the outdoors with Andrew, my husband. We love to travel to new places together and explore! This photo to the right was a self-portrait taken in California last year!

How I Want to Capture You

One of my favorite aspects about photography is capturing the essence of my subject’s relationship with each other. Whether a newborn baby with loving parents, or the excitement of a newly engaged couple, I’m here to document your story. My hope is to get to know you in the process and share in some laughs along the way.

If you aren’t comfortable in front of the camera or aren’t used to having professional photos taken, no worries. It will be a low-key time, and I will try my hardest to make you laugh and get comfortable in front of the camera quickly.
